So, my first post on the new blog was a while back. I'm a total slacker, I admit it.
Actually, life has been crazy busy since I started school, about a week after the last post. I am officially a college student! I never thought I would have the chance to go back to school, honestly. Once I graduated high school and turned down a scholarship to play soccer at a junior college (stupid, idiotic, just plain DUMB!), I ended up working two jobs and then having a baby and getting married. Well, the opportunity presented itself again, and this time I jumped on it!
Besides my own school, I have two of my boys in school. Oldest is almost done with the 3rd grade and middle is almost done with kindergarten. Youngest is 18 months old and the new one will be here the first part of September. Oh, that's right, that's news to you guys, huh? Well, yep, boy #4. He was a big surprise, we were done with #3. There's that life thing happening again.. (Sh)it happens and you deal with it. So that's what we're doing.. dealing. I thought that maybe since this one was such a surprise, maybe it would be a girl. Apparently we don't know how to make those. Oh well, I'm just destined to be a baseball mom.
Baseball-that's another thing that keeps us running. Oldest and middle both play, often at the same exact time on the same nights. That's annoying, but we deal with it. I get lots of exercise on those nights, walking back and forth to complete opposite sides of the complex trying to see as much of both games as possible. Like I said, annoying. Especially while dragging a toddler around.
So, that's what's going on right now. Oh, and baby naming. We can't agree on a boy name. Happened with the last one too, but when we DID find the right one, we knew right away. Why does it have to be up to us to give these kids names that they have to live with for the rest of their lives? Why can't they just choose them themselves when they are like.. four? Before they start school? Okay, okay.. I know that it's our job to do it for them. So, that's why I am so picky when it comes to choosing a name. Guess that's a good thing, right?
